Brenda Kay Flanagan

Brenda Kay Flanagan, age 49 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday evening, April 4, 2018 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born on October 22, 1968 in Petersburg, WV, she was a daughter of John David Lewis of Morgantown, WV and the late Diane Ellen Fultz Lewis Chaney. Brenda was a fun person who enjoyed large cookouts with friends and family. A friend of the outdoors, she enjoyed the occasional fishing and camping trip but her passion was shopping at the Dollar Tree as she enjoyed her many craft projects. Her pride and joy was her grandson and she loved keeping him. Surviving is her husband, Andrew Melvin Flanagan, Jr.; a daughter, Kayla Marie Flanagan of Moorefield, WV; a son, John William and wife Vanessa May of Moorefield, WV; a grandson, Zane Slate May; four sisters, Tammy Davis, Rose Mullins & Melody Heap all of Moorefield, WV and Tracy Hill of Morgantown, WV. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM, Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Harpers Chapel Church of the Brethren, 661 Lost River State Park Road, Moorefield, WV with Pastor Johnny Stump officiating.
