Burl Hunter Harper

Burl Hunter Harper, age 75 of Willow St., Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 2, 2015 at his residence. Born August 23, 1939 in Braxton Co., WV he was the son of the late Fred Lee Harper and Anna Cecelia Perrine Harper. He was a letter carrier for the USPS for 20 years and a US Army veteran. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Betty E. (Hartman) Harper; three daughters, Deborah Thomas of Charleston, WV, Loretta Biamonte of Jeffersonville, VT and Dawn Olsen of Ohio; a brother, Carl Harper of Clendenin, WV; three sisters, Amanda J. Deel of Clendenin, WV, Wilda L. Capo of Duluth, GA and Annie Mullins of KY and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date.
