Cornelia Alice Miller

Cornelia Alice Miller, age 75 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday morning, July 23, 2015 in Wardensville, WV. Born January 30, 1940 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward Miller and Lille Bryan (Runions) Miller. She was a retired secretary for the WVDHHR and a gardener who enjoyed her flowers. She also became involved with the soaps she would watch in the afternoon and would cook up a large meal that she would end up freezing some for later. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Miller & Tommy Miller and two sisters, Gertrude Whiteman & Gladys Sherman. Surviving is a son, James Jimmy (wife Audrey) Miller of Purgitsville, WV; two sisters, Helen Bierley of Moorefield, WV and Peggy Boblits of Baltimore, MD; two grandchildren, Amber Ratliff and Davey Keplinger, a great-grandson, Edward Ratliff and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Rick Bergdoll officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of services.
