Goldie Irene Wilkins

Goldie Irene Hott Wilkins, age 89 of J C Markwood Road, Purgitsville, WV, passed away Thursday evening, July 17, 2014 at her residence. Born November 6, 1924 in Romney, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Thomas Hott and Fannie Virginia (Dean) Hott. She was one of the oldest members of the Old Fields Baptist Church. Her husband, Roy L. Skinner Wilkins preceded her in death in August 1982. Two brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Linda Halterman of Mathias, WV and Brenda Clark of Purgitsville, WV; a son, Bernard L. Wilkens of Swanville, MN; a brother, Andrew W. Hott of Holly Hills, SC; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastors Dan Howard and Andy Sions officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Pine Cemetery, Purgitsville, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
