Helen Lee Delawder

Helen Lee Delawder, age 80 of Railroad Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, February 17, 2015 at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born June 26, 1934 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Martha (Heavner) Vetter. Her husband Robert Delawder preceded her in death in February 2004. A son, Steven and two brothers, Charles Vetter & Jimmy Vetter also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. Surviving is a son, Monte C. Delawder of Moorefield, WV; two daughters, Vickie L. Pratt & Deborah D. Ketterman of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Anna Vetter Beams of Moorefield, WV; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Donnie Knotts officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
