Orpha Mae Helmick

Orpha Mae Helmick, age 84 of Railroad St., Moorefield, WV passed away Monday morning, February 17, 2014 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born December 29, 1929 in Hampshire Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Albert Price Ganoe and Buana Grace (Mullins) Ganoe Baldwin . Her husband, Dorsey G. Helmick, Sr. preceded her in death in October 2005. Two sons, Gaynor and Keith and two brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Trina E. Branson and Linda K. Miller of Moorefield, WV; five sons, Gary A. Helmick, Brian D. Helmick, Gregory L. Helmick and Kevin M. Helmick of Moorefield, WV and Leonard E. Helmick of Bridgewater, VA; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 12:000 PM (Noon) Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastors Russell & Lucy Webster officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at 12:00 PM.
