Robert Clark Vetters

Robert Clark Bob Vetters, age 74 of Pine Avenue, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday morning, November 9, 2015 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born October 11, 1941 in New Carlisle, OH, he was a son of Edna Ruth (Clark) Vetters of Moorefield, WV and the late Melvin Robert Ted Vetters. He was a 1960 graduate of Christianburg-Jackson High School in Saint Paris, OH; a past member and driver of the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Company-46; a past member and driver for Fraley Ambulance Service and a dedicated member of the Green Hunting Club. He was a truck driver for Hester Industries for over 20 years. Surviving is his loving wife of 51 years, Donna Jean (Waber) Vetters; three daughters, Robin & Chuck Williams of Moorefield, WV, Heidi Fields of Bridgeville, DE and Shelia Collins of Converse, TX; four grandsons, Bub & Michelle Fields, Robbie J Fields, Damien Fields and Robert N. Vetters; six granddaughters, Nikita Fields, Cara & Galen Reel, Leanna Williams, Shanta Fields, Tamikia & Dexter Manning and Josie Collins; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruthie & Junior ONeal of New Carlisle, OH and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Vicki Lynn See also preceded him in death. A Celebration of Life will be held beginning at 7:00 PM Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until time of services at 7:00 PM.
