Sandra Phyllis Coby

Sandra Phyllis Coby, age 75 of Cold Spring Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 24, 2015 at her residence. Born February 23, 1940 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Otha Mervin Hinkle and Carrie Maude (Smith) Hinkle. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer B. Coby in May 1997. Two sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters, Carol Koontz of Mathias, WV, Cheryl Coby & Sherri Lease of Moorefield, WV; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Emma Runion of Petersburg, WV and Judy Eye of Bridgewater, VA. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St, with the Rev. Charles Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 4 & 6 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Sandra was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed canning. Her life centered around her family, especially her grandchildren. This was evident to everyone while on family vacations.
