Andrew Wendell Bierkamp

Andrew "Wendell" Bierkamp, age 66 of Cunningham Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed this life Tuesday morning, June 7, 2016 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born July 27, 1949 in Moorefield, WV, he was the son of the late Andrew Vause Bierkamp and Autuam Elizabeth (Crites) Bierkamp. He was a preceded in death by two sisters and a half-brother. He was a member of the Moorefield Lodge # 29 A.F. & A.M. Wendell enjoyed spending time with his grandson, enjoyed his guns and his truck and was a coach and mentor to upcoming Masons. Surviving is his companion, Wanda Nesselrod; a daughter, Wendy Bierkamp of Moorefield, WV; a grandson, Seth Bow at home; a granddaughter, Robyn Shirk of Petersburg, WV; three sisters, Mary Wolfe of Fisher, WV, Faye Smith of Old Fields, WV and Fran Kisamore of Bloomery, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street, with Pastor Russell Webster officiating. Interment will follow with Masonic Graveside Rites Accorded by the Moorefield Lodge #29 A.F. & A.M. at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials in Wendells honor may be directed to the charity of choice.
