Margel Barr Cain, 87, of Dunbar, WV, passed away on December 5, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House West in South Charleston, WV. She was born on August 28, 1929 in Moorefield, WV a daughter of the late Glenn Barr and Delena (Simmons) Barr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Edward Cain and sisters, Elma Wilson and Sissie Barr. Margel was a cook for Kanawha County Schools. Surviving is her daughter, Vickie Lynn Cain of Dunbar, WV, two grandsons, Michael Cain of St. Albans, WV and Eric McIntyre of Dunbar, WV; a great granddaughter, Ashby Olivia Cain of Tornado, WV; two sisters, Louella Beeler and her husband Bennie, of Strasburg, VA and Jean Swick of Petersburg. Funeral Services will be conducted 12:00 PM Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, Route 55 East of Moorefield with Pastor Donnie Knotts officiating.. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Gardens adjacent to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of services.
