Adrian Leon Hambleton, Sr.

Adrian Leon Hambleton, Sr., age 84 of Moorefield, WV passed away Sunday morning, May 9, 2010 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born August 3, 1925 in Hardy Co., WV, he was a son of the late Monroe & Lula (Dellinger) Hambleton. He was a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren for over 50 years. A daughter, a grandson, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Surviving is hisloving wife of 65 years Nancy (Southerly) Hambleton, two sons, Adrian Hambleton, Jr. of Mathias, WV and David Hambleton of Moorefield, WV; three daughters, Diana Hambleton & Donna Hambleton of Moorefield, WV and Barbara Weese of Doyline, LA; a brother, John Hambleton of Winchester, VA; a sister, Molly Thorne of Old Fields, WV; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
