Alma Elizabeth Smith

Alma Elizabeth Smith, age 88 of Trough Road, Moorefield, WV passed away Saturday morning, February 11, 2017 at the Grant Rehabilitation & Care Center in Petersburg, WV, where she had been a resident since 2004. Born on April 29, 1928 in Hardy County, WV, she was a daughter of the late John Thomas Smith and Eunice Irene Wolfe Smith. She was a graduate of the Moorefield High School Class of 1946 and a past member of the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church. A brother and a nephew preceded her in death. Surviving is a brother, Harlan & Arvella Smith of Old Fields, WV; two sisters, Margel Goldizen of Moorefield, WV and Judith Edwards of Falls Church, WV; ten nieces; two nephews and numerous great & great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday February 14, 2017 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Johnnie Stump officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
