Beatrice Yakubow

Beatrice Irene (Beaman) Yakubow, age 77 of Lee Street, Moorefield, WV formerly of Wheeling, WV passed away Thursday evening, October 30, 2003 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born May 11, 1926 at Roneys Point, WV, near Wheeling, she was a daughter of the late Samuel A. & Ethel Elizabeth (Rice) Beaman. She attended the Oak Dale Christian Church and had resided in Moorefield since her husband?s death. Her husband Charles Yakubow preceded her in death on May 10, 1983. Six sisters, two brothers and two half-brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving is a son, Charles Michael Yakubow and wife Karen of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Beverly I. Carr and husband Dalton of Rig, WV; a sister, Bessie Davidson of Corpus Christi, TX; six grandchildren, Jamie Carr and wife Amy of Winchester, VA; Brian Carr and wife Karen of Inwood, WV; Jenny Carr McGregor and husband Pat of Moorefield, WV; Kari Yakubow Diggins and husband Justin of Lexington, SC; Charlie Yakubow and Corey Yakubow of Moorefield, WV and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Sunday, November 2, 2003 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV with the Rev. Lynn Rohrbaugh officiating. Interment followed in the Newhouse Cemetery at Rig, WV.
