Billy Joe Morrison

Billy Joe Morrison, the man who loved to spend his days fishing and hunting in the great outdoors, peacefully passed away at the age of 60 at his home in Moorefield, WV on Monday, April 8, 2024. He was born on January 7, 1964, in Cincinnati, OH, to his late parents Joe Harold Maggard and Helen Morrison.

Known for his passion for animals, Billy Joe cherished the company of his loyal companions Maggie, his dog, and Binks, his cat. You could often find him wandering the aisles at the local Walmart, where he worked tirelessly as a stocker. Joe had a love for the waters, always eager to cast his line into any nearby body of water.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his siblings: Dennis Lee Morrison, Timothy Morrison, Anthony Maggard, Kellie Hollan, and Mary Maggard from Cincinnati, OH; Darlene Keeney of IN; and Dorothy Reichert of Petersburg, WV, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Details of services, both locally and in Cincinnati, OH, will be announced at a later date.
