Blanche Annie Shockey

Blanche Annie Shockey, age 95 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday afternoon, May 21, 2010 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born October 7, 1914 in Hardy Co., WV, she was a daughter of the late William F. & Virginia F. (Sites) Whetzel. Her husband Daniel William Shockey preceded her in death in December 1985. A great-grandson, a great-granddaughter, three brothers and five sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are five sons, Ronald Kesner, Daniel Kesner, Terry Baker, Bobby Baker & Joseph Kesner all of Moorefield, WV; four daughters, Delores Smith, Barbara Shockey, Tanga Belt & BillieJo Whiteman all of Moorefield, WV; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastors Glenden Berg & Matt Lyon officiating. Interment will follow at the Newhouse Cemetery, Rig, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
