Brenda Sherman Whetzel

Brenda Sherman Whetzel, age 56 of Red Bud Lane, Fisher, WV, passed away Sunday morning February 6, 2011, at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born February 12, 1954 in Grant Co., WV, she was the daughter of Eula (Woerner) Sherman of Petersburg, WV and the late Paul W. ?Bun? Sherman. Surviving is her husband of 36 years, Carl W. ?Corky? Whetzel; two sons, Joseph Whetzel (Jackie) of Culpepper, VA and Benjamin Whetzel of Fisher, WV; and a brother, Eugene Sherman (Martha) of Metter, GA. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Rebecca Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
