Calvin Eugene Hose

Calvin Eugene ?Jack? Hose, age 69 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 9, 2004 at his residence. Born October 19, 1934 in Harrisonburg, VA, he was a son of the late Jesse James Hose & Edna Louella (Smith) Hose. He was a US Army veteran of the 37th Field Artillery Battalion; a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren and was an announcer and sales representative of Radio Station WELD for 42 years. Four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Hazel P. (Funkhouser) Hose; a son, Craig A. Hose of Moorefield, WV; a daughter; Cynthia E. Vance of Martinsburg, WV; a sister, Alice Ash of Huntington, WV and a grandson, Cory. Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at the Moorefield Church of the Brethren with Pastors Harold Garber, Richard Glass and Ed Craft officiating. Interment followed with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Army and the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at the Bethel Cemetery, Old Fields, WV. Memorials be directed to the church of the donor?s choice.
