Carl Randal Helmick

Carl Randal Helmick, age 65 of Petersburg, WV, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at his residence. Born on October 4, 1960, in Romney, WV, he was the son of the late Frankie Overland Helmick and Nancy Bell Hartman Helmick. A brother, Robert F. Helmick also preceded him in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Helmick of Petersburg, WV and Kimberly Helmick of Woodstock, VA; a brother, Kenneth E. (Mary Sue) Helmick of VA; four sisters, Jane Wellons of Moorefield, WV, Wilma L. Sherman of Moorefield, WV, Judith Bennett of Petersburg, WV and Deborah J. (Homer) Davis of Burlington, WV; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
