Charles Roy Dean

Charles Roy Dean, age 93 of Fisher, WV, passed away Monday evening, July 1, 2013 at his residence. Born March 29, 1920 at Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Walter Dean & Zella Lovine (Timbrook) Dean. He grew up in Kirby, WV and had retired from American Woodmark Corporation after 22 years as the Paint Room Supervisor. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Luella May (See) Dean in July 1993. A son, Roger Dean; two brothers, Leonard Irvin Jim Dean and Henry Dean; four sisters, Ola Clark, Pauline Ritchie, Guyeula Hammersla and Onile Dean; a granddaughter; a grandson and two-great grandson also preceded him in death. Surviving are two sons, Ralph Dean of Fisher, WV and Richard Dean of Hagerstown, MD; a daughter, Betty Jean Snyder of Old Fields, WV; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00AM Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Bible Baptist Church, Frosty Hollow Road, Fisher, WV with Pastors Doyle Patch & Ken Smith officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Army at Hotts Chapel Cemetery, Kirby, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 8 PM Friday at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. Memorials may be directed to the Bible Baptist Church, 642 Frosty Hollow Road, Fisher, WV 26818 or to the Charity of Choice.
