Christine Bell Tellefsen

Christine Bell Tellefsen, age 74 of Rig West Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday morning, March 23, 2023 at her residence with her family at her bedside. Born on August 19, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Arnold Christian Tellefsen and Agnes Doloris Roseth Tellefsen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine and a brother, Andrew.

In her younger days, she enjoyed fishing and clamming, any activity that could get her on the water. An animal lover throughout her lifetime, she enjoyed many activities with horses, showing English and Western. Birds, dogs, cats and goats; she raised them, bred them and often showed them. Also, a Registered Nurse, caring for others was her true passion.

Surviving is her husband of 36 years, Gale Ray Honnold; two sons, Jerry Festa of Freeport, NY and Robert Pillus of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Christine Festa of Sebastian, FL; two grandchildren, Riley and Sophia; and a Goddaughter, Lori Chapman of Weirsdale, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held a 6:00 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor D. J. Taylor officiant. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until time of services.
