Christopher Lynn Myers

Christopher Lynn Myers, age 40 of Yukon Drive, Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at his residence. Born December 8, 1969 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late Kenneth F. & Gladys S. (Knee) Myers. He had served time in the US Marine Corps and coached and assisted numerous teams in the local youth baseball and basketball leagues. He was a driver for Alt Trucking. Surviving are two sons, C. Shawn Myers & Shane D. Myers with their mother, Tammy J. Myers of Moorefield, WV; six brothers, Roger D. Myers, Paul E. Myers, Ray E. Myers, James F. Myers & John K. Myers of Moorefield, WV and Kenneth F. Myers of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Ruth Ann Gribble of Martinsburg, WV and Ruby D. Lewis of Harrisonburg, VA; 16 nieces and nephews and 21 great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Jimmy Stump, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Walnut Grove Gardens near Moorefield. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
