Darl Clyde Troy

Darl C. ?Hippie? Troy, age 65 of Scotts Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday morning, June 14, 2012 at the V.A. Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. Born January 16, 1947 in Petersburg, WV, he was the son of the late Jesse & Mildred (Crites) Troy. He was a member of the Local #132 Operators Union, a veteran of the US Army of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Denney-Moyers-Pratt Post #9606 VFW. A son, a brother and a son-in-law preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Betty (Stump) Troy, a daughter, Tammy Troy Hottinger of Moorefield, WV and a grandson. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastor Greg Rotruck officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 -8 PM Saturday and 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
