David Scott Myers

David Scott Myers, age 43 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Conemough Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, PA. Born November 16, 1970 in Winchester, VA, he was a son of Karl Delbert Myers Spike and Nancy Alice (Jenkins) Myers of Moorefield, WV. David spent nearly every Sunday morning in the back row listening to the services at Believers Victory Center where he was a member. David loved spending time at the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Department and he was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Another pastime was watching Sunday football; always cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. He was without a doubt their number one fan. He enjoyed talking/gossiping to his many friends whether on the phone, through texting, or on Facebook. Surviving is a daughter, Stephanie R. (Jared) Haukland of Moorefield, WV; a son, Marcus A. Myers of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Kelly Myers (Scott) Crawford of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Karl D. (Minnie) Myers, Jr. Little Spike of Johnstown, PA; a grandson, Winston Eli-Robert Fortney and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Believers Victory Center with Pastor Chris Whetzel officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM.
