Donald Branson Riggleman

Donald Branson Riggleman, age 78 of South Main St., Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday evening, January 5, 2010 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born August 10, 1932 in Rig, WV, he was the son of the late Brooke B. & Eveline (Newhouse) Riggleman. He was a US Navy Veteran, a member and Past Post Commander of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion, a longtime member of the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard and a member of Voiture #1535, 40 & 8. Three brothers, two sisters and a grandson preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Mary C. (Link) Riggleman; a son, Roger Riggleman (wife Jenny) of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Teresa Saville (husband Gerald) of Baker, WV; two brothers, Armond ?Sonny? Riggleman of Moorefield, WV and Delmas ?Jake? Riggleman of Arthur, WV; three sisters, Betty Bean of Rockville, MD, Alice Lee Wimer of Montross, VA and Linda Burgess of Arthur, WV; and three grandchildren, Matt, Clint & Jessica. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Pastors Frank Myers & Dan Sterns officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites Accorded by the U.S. Navy and the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at the Newhouse Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
