"Duke" Fitzwater

Ralph Junior ?Duke? Fitzwater, age 69 of Cattlemen Drive, Moorefield, WV passed away Friday evening, March 28, 2003 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born July 18, 1933 in Hardy Co., WV he was a son of the late Louie & Minnie (Shockey) Fitzwater. He was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion and a member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren. One brother preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Bertha (Lewis) Fitzwater, two sons, Bill Fitzwater and Bob Fitzwater of Moorefield; two sisters, Barbara Wratchford and Ella May Lahman of Moorefield; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, March 31, 2003 at the Moorefield Church of the Brethren with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 7 ? 9 Sunday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield. Mr. Fitzwater will be taken to the church one hour prior to services on Monday.
