Edmund Lee Gossard

Edmund Lee ?Ed? Gossard, age 71 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. Born December 3, 1939 he was the son of the late Ralph & Dorothy (Foltz) Gossard. A Brother preceded him in death. He retired from the U.S. Navy ?SeaBees?, was a veteran of ?Desert Storm?; and most recently retired from the WV Department of Highways. He was a member of the John M. Golliday Post #64 American Legion and the Denney-Moyers-Pratt Post #9606 V.F.W. Surviving are two sons, Todd Gossard of Winchester, VA and Josh Evans of Old Fields, WV; a daughter, Amy Gossard Couch of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Ronald Gossard of Lima, OH; a sister, Sharon Gossard Edwards of Lima, OH and five grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with the Rev. Charles Snyder officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. The Combined Veterans? will hold a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM Monday evening in the chapel.
