Elizabeth Gertrude Simon

Elizabeth Gertrude Simon, age 88 of Jackson Ave., Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday morning, March 23, 2015 at the E.A. Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Baker, WV. Born November 13, 1926 in Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Elmer Miller and Mary Susan Schell Miller. Her husband, Carl Edward Simon preceded her in death in July 1968. A son, four brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are four daughters, Shirley & John Woodard of Rapidan, VA, Mary & Gerald Myers of Old Fields, WV, Sandra Baker & Barbara Ours of Moorefield, WV; three sons, James & Sharon Simon of Huntington, WV, Robert & Joyce Simon of Martinsburg, WV and Ronald Simon of Purgitsville, WV; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street. Private Services will be held at a later date.
