Eva Mae Taylor

April 9, 1919 — September 3, 2014

Eva Mae Taylor, age 95 of Charleston, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the Blue Ridge Hospice, Winchester, VA. Born April 9, 1919 in Kanawha Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Fuggitt Taylor and Rada Francis (Carnes) Taylor. Baptized in 1935, she was a member of the Dunbar Church of Christ and was a bookkeeper for Frankenbergers Department Store for many years. Surviving is a brother, Edsel Y. (Aileen) Taylor of St. Albans, WV; a sister, Gloria Lyons of Moorefield, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Crandel Taylor, a sister and brother-in-law, Chloe Taylor Lowery and Jess Ernest Lowery, a sister, Virginia Taylor Booth and a brother-in-law, Jim Lyons. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Tyler Mountain Funeral Home Mausoleum Chapel, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV with Pastor Thomas Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (Noon) until time of services at 1:00 PM. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Evas neighbors Richard & Brenda McFarland and her extended church family.
