Evelyn Beatrice Lahman

Evelyn Beatrice Lahman, age 84 formerly of Moorefield, WV passed away Sunday evening, June 27, 2004 at the Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV. Born December 5, 1919 in Hardy Co., WV she was a daughter of the late Seymour S. & Virginia (Ratliff) Lipscomb and a stepdaughter of the late Noah Swick. Her husband Ladd M. Lahman preceded her in death in February 1972. A son and three brothers also preceded her in death. Surviving are four sons; Larry Lahman of Parsons, WV, Leroy Lahman of Rock Cave, WV, Anthony Lahman of Rock Cave, WV and Alvin Hall of Rock Cave, WV; two brothers, David Lipscomb of Petersburg, WV and Elwood Lipscomb of Baltimore, MD; fifteen grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted Thursday, July 1, 2004 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Jimmy Stump, Sr. officiating. Interment followed at the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
