Frances Elaine Welton

Frances Elaine Welton, age 85 of N Main St, Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday afternoon, August 27, 2011 at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born May 14, 1926 at Grassy Lick, Hampshire County, she was the daughter of the late Garrett D. & Martha A.(Bowman) Hott. Her husband James V. ?Jim? Welton preceded her in death in September 1992. A daughter and a son also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, James R. Welton of Fredericksburg, VA and Roy B. Welton of Moorefield, WV; a step daughter, Alice Eye of Moorefield, WV; five grandchildren and a great-grandson. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with the Rev. Jay Parkins officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
