George Albert Hinkle

George Albert Hinkle, age 86 of Old Fields, WV, passed away Friday morning, February 17, 2012 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. He was born, March 18, 1925 in Old Fields, WV, a son of the late James Olen ?Jimmy? & Mary Esta (Arnold) Hinkle. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 54 years, Betty Jean (Hedrick) Hinkle in June 2002. Two sisters and twin brothers also preceded him in death. George was a Charter Member of the Moorefield Church of the Brethren where he served as the church organist and a choir member for over 50 years. He also served as a deacon, board member, secretary, treasurer and Sunday School Teacher in the church. Surviving is his wife whom he married on May 1, 2004, Delma Mongold-Hinkle; two daughters, Gloria Hughes (Bob) of Moorefield, WV and Kathy Beasley (Dean) of Old Fields, WV; two grandchildren, Jeb & Jordan Beasley and six step-children, Kathy Mongold, Houstin Mongold, David Mongold, Carla Simmons, Kay Mongold and John Mongold. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Garber officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery, Old Fields, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
