Gordon Lee Hines

Gordon Lee Hines, age 86 of Williams St, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday evening at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born April 11, 1924 in Fabius, WV, he was the son of the late Leonard & Mary (Funk) Hines. He was a US Army/Air Force veteran of WWII. A sister, a brother, an infant brother and a daughter-in-law preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Norma (Myers) Hines; two sons, Doug Myers of Old Fields, WV and Mark Hines of Rig, WV; 3 daughters, Twila Mowery & Connie Johnston of Moorefield, WV and Joye Hines Brinson of Nokesville, VA; a sister, Goldie Elosser of Baker, WV; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St, with Pastors Brad Taylor & Wade Armentrout officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites Accorded by the U.S. Army and the Moorefield Veteran?s Honor Guard at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Baker, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
