Helen Lee Sherman

Helen Lee Sherman, age 78 of Odgen Farm Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday afternoon, July 5, 2004 at her residence. Born October 2, 1925 in Mansfield, IL, she was a daughter of the late Burly B. & Molly E. (Riggleman) Runions. Her husband, William B. Sherman preceded her in death in February 1965. A son, a stepson, two brothers and a sister also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Samuel Sherman and James Sherman of Moorefield, WV; a daughter, Betty ?Susie? Capps of Angier, NC; a brother, Burly ?Junior? Runions of Old Fields, WV; five sisters, Ruth Cole, Martha Taylor and Betty Alt of Moorefield, WV, Dottie Pahe of Fayettville, NC, and Wilma Snider of Port Orange, FL; eight grandsons, a special grandson, a granddaughter, a step-grandson, eleven great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service was conducted Thursday, July 8, 2004 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating. At Mrs. Sherman?s request she has been cremated.
