Helen Frances Southerly

Helen Frances Southerly, age 87 of Lee St. Apts., Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday morning, August 12, 2010 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born March 19, 1923 in Durgon, Hardy Co., WV, she was the daughter of the late Amby & Julia (Jenkins) Ours. She was a member of the Baker?s Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving is a son; Carl R. Southerly of Prince Frederick, MD; a daughter, Polly Tanner of Moorefield, WV; two brothers, Paul Ours of Mascotte, FL and Jim Ours of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Gladys Parrish of Moorefield, WV and Sally Whetzel of Miami, FL; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Private Graveside Rites will be held at Olivet Cemetery.
