James Price Ashenfelter

James Price Jim Ashenfelter, age 63 of Roosevelt Street, Beckley, WV, formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at his residence. Born on December 18, 1953 at Ft. Belvoir, VA, he was a son of the late James Owen Ashenfelter and Flossie Victoria (Zirk) Ashenfelter. A brother, Robert Ashenfelter and a sister, Polly A. Robertson also preceded him in death. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Surviving is a brother, John M. Ashenfelter of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Toni Welton of Old Fields, WV and Sandra Collins of Lake Station, IN and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Services are being planned for a later date.
