James Kifer

James Kifer, age 69 of Lost River State Park Rd., Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday evening, September 13, 2012 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born April 14, 1943 in Hampshire County, WV, he was the son of the late James W. Kifer & Carrie A. (Baker) Kifer Stonestreet. A woodworker at heart, he was considered a ?jack of all trades?. An infant son, a granddaughter and a sister preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Helen (Dolby) Kifer; two sons, Doug Dolby of Moorefield, WV and Jimmy Kifer of Old Fields, WV; a daughter, Helen ?Sissy? Kifer of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Glenn E. Stonestreet of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Roseanna Myers of Moorefield, WV; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
