James Granville Lyons

James Granville ?Jim? Lyons, age 76 of Berry Patch Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed away Wednesday evening, October 3, 2012 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born March 30, 1936 in Charleston, WV he was the son of the late James Edward Lyons and Enith Nocia (Bruni) Lyons. Jim had retired as a Supervisor for the WV Employment Security Office after 29 years. He was a member of the Moorefield Church of Christ. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Gloria (Taylor) Lyons; four children, Cathy Ruddle of Moorefield, WV, Daniel Lyons of Winchester, VA, Jamie Lloyd of Huntington, WV and Taylor Lyons of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Frank Lyons of Coopers Creek, WV; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and Special Foster Family members, Elizabeth Miller, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St., with Minister Thomas Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the South Branch Memorial Gardens, Petersburg, WV. The family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
