Jason Glenn Regester

Jason Glenn Regester, age 25 of Owings Mills, MD and formerly of Moorefield, WV passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2003 in Baltimore, MD as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born May 11, 1978 in Harrisonburg, VA he was a son of Samuel W. & Judy R. (Short) Neff of Woodstock, VA and a son of the late Larry Glenn Regester. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James E. Short and his paternal grandfather Weldon W. Neff an uncle Jerry Regester and a cousin Jonathan VanGilder. Jason was a graduate of Moorefield High School class of 1996, attended Fairmont State College, and a 2002 graduate of Shepherd College with a RN BSN degree. He was active in 4-H, was a 4-H Pin Wearer, a member of the Church of Christ, an EMT with the Fairmont Rescue Squad in Fairmont, WV and Baker Heights Rescue Squad in Martinsburg, WV, was a Nursing Assistant at Washington Co., Hospital in Hagerstown, MD, worked as a Home Health Aid for Maxim Healthcare in Baltimore, MD, worked as a RN BSN at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and was a member of the American Nurses Association. Surviving in addition to his parents is a sister Amy R. Enterline of Falling Waters, WV; maternal grandmother, Virginia (Kisner) Short of Fairmont, WV; paternal grandparents, Garnett & Adeline (Ricottillo) Regester of Moorefield, WV and Ruth (Miller) Neff of Moorefield. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday, July 19, 2003 at the Central Christian Church, Big Tree Drive, Fairmont, WV with Pastor Paul Rebelo officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery outside Fairmont, WV. Memorials in Jason?s memory for a scholarship fund may be directed to the family at 418 N. Summit Ave., Woodstock, VA 22664.
