Joseph Bryan Keplinger, Jr.

Joseph Bryan ?June? Keplinger, Jr. age 76 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday morning, September 25, 2011 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born November 26, 1934 in Hardy Co., WV, he was the son of the late Joseph B. Keplinger, Sr. & Icie (Hartman) Keplinger. He was a US Navy veteran; a Life Member of the V.F.W.; a member of the Moorefield Lodge #29 A.F. & A.M.; a member of the Osiris Shrine of Wheeling, WV and a member of the Potomac Highlands Shrine Club, Petersburg, WV. Two sons, Joe and Dennis; a sister, Tressie Moyers; a brother, Bruce and a half-brother, Homer Lee preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Jeanette (Crites) Keplinger; a son, Leslie & wife Donna Keplinger of Strasburg, VA; a daughter, Donna Donohue of Remington, VA; a foster son, Brian & wife Patricia Earhart of Fredricksburg, VA; a daughter-in-law, Arlene Keplinger of Bealton, VA; three brothers, Bill Keplinger and Richard Keplinger of Moorefield, WV, Sterling ?Buzz? Keplinger of Warsaw, MO; a half-brother, Johnny Keplinger of Moorefield, WV; a sister, Alma Malcolm of Springfield, WV; two grandsons, James & Gary; two granddaughters, Emily & Deanna, and a great grand-daughter, Zoe. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 28, 2011 with Pastor Ricky Hoosier officiating. Interment will follow with Military Graveside Rites accorded by the US Navy at the Baldwin Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
