Kenneth Neil Clarke

February 16, 1947 — August 19, 2022

Kenneth Neil Clarke, age 75 of Fisher, WV passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, surrounded by his family at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, VA. Born on February 16, 1947, at Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of the late Wilfred James Clarke and Helen Agnes Leishman Clarke. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Clarke and an unborn grandchild.

Kenneth was a U.S. Navy veteran, where he proudly served as a Boiler Technician for fifteen years. Kenneth also retired from VEPCO as a mechanic, where became well known as “Superman”. Later in life he became a well-known and traveled Lapidary. Kenneth was well known for his jokes and wild stories and very proudly led lives to Christ. He and his wife opened their homes, family and heart to many foster children for many years.

Surviving is his loving wife of thirty-five years, Jennifer “Elaine” Miller Clarke; three sons, Kenneth James Clarke of Norfolk, VA., Kenneth Cecil (Jessica) Clarke of Greenville, SC, Wilfred Paul (Crystal) Clarke of Moorefield, WV; two daughters Sherry Clarke of Tucson, AZ, Jennifer L. (Eric “Flea” Hinzman) Miller of Fisher, WV; a brother Douglas (Jackie) Clarke of Hardwood, Ontario, Canada; a sister, Edith (Chris) Calbury of Baltimore, Ontario, Canada; ten grandchildren, Chris Clarke, Serena Clarke, Makaio Dahuya, Kamea Dahuya, Nickolas Lim, Dilan Lim, Kayme Clarke-Comis, Jaclyn Clarke, Dean Clarke, Binson F. L. Hinzman and a great-grandson, Henry Nickolas Lim.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
