Lairity Blaine Hose

Lairity Blaine Hose, age 84 of Ft. Run Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Monday morning, October 7, 2019 at his residence. Born on July 16, 1935 in Moorefield, WV, he was a son of the late Albert Ronald “Jake” Hose and Virginia Bell Combs Hose. He attended Moorefield Baptist Church. A son, Terry, and an infant son, Ronald, preceded him in death.

Surviving is his loving wife of almost 65 years, Lois Mae Mowbray Hose; along with four children; Brenda (George) Heideger of Keymar, MD, Dusty Hose and Michael (Debra) Hose of Moorefield, WV and Tina (James) Sheehy of New Market, MD; a sister, Helen Entsminger of Moorefield, WV; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Lairity could make or fix almost anything. His children marveled at his talent with his hands to craft what he wanted or needed to build with almost any material. He truly was a “jack of all trades” and his children will miss that knowledge he was able to share when needed.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Matt Lyon officiant. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
