M. Phyllis Sherman

Mary Phyllis Sherman, age 94 of Moorefield, WV passed away Friday morning, July 12, 2002 at her residence. Born September 18, 1907 in Hardy County, WV she was a daughter of the late Mitchell F. & Mary E. (Simmons) Poling. She was a member of the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church, a member of the WSCS Circle #1, and a member of the Old Fields CEOS club. She was preceded in death by her husband Loring A. Sherman in March 1963, she was also preceded in death by 3 Sisters and 3 Brothers. She is survived by Son, Roger Sherman of Moorefield, WV; Brothers, Ray Poling, Don Poling, Felix Poling & Lindsey Poling all of Moorefield; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Funeral Services were held Sunday, July 14, 2002 at the Fraley Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Clark officiating. Interment followed in the Olivet Cemetery.
