Mable Alice Alt

Mable Alice Alt, age 88 of East Brighton Avenue, Moorefield, WV passed away Monday morning, May 5, 2003 at the E.A. Hawse Continuous Care Center in Baker, WV. Born May 18, 1914 in Hardy Co., WV she was a daughter of the late John A. & Regina May (Baldwin) Branson. Her husband Earl Alt preceded her in death in June 1993. Two sons, one daughter, four sisters and one brother also preceded her in death. Mrs. Alt was a member of the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church. Surviving are, two sons; Eldon Alt of San Antonio, TX, Steven Alt of Tampa, FL; a daughter, Nancy Desantis of Springfield, VA; one brother, John D. Branson of Moorefield; five sisters, Ruby Constable of Winston-Salem, NC, Edna Zook of Phoenix, AZ, Irene Smith of Akron, OH, Delores Heare of Old Fields, WV & Lila Stafford of Akron, OH; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Funeral Services were conducted Thursday, May 8, 2003 at the Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Don Clark officiating. Interment followed in the Olivet Cemetery.
