Mary Louise Forkner

Mary Louise Forkner, age 71 of Moorefield, WV passed away Tuesday morning July 1, 2003 at the E. A. Hawse Continuous Care Center in Baker, WV. Born March 28, 1932 in Hardy Co., WV she was a daughter of Velma (Woerner) Hutter of Moorefield and the late A.G. ?Dick? Hutter. Mary Louise was retired as the Treasurer and Credit Manager of Hester Industries of Moorefield, was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, was the former president of Kappa Delta Phi, was Valedictorian of the Moorefield High School Class of 1950 and received an Associates of Arts degree from Potomac State College in Keyser, WV. She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Forkner; two sisters, Joan H. Weatherholtz of Columbia, MD and Helen ?Sammy? Martin of Moorefield; nephews, Holly Martin of Moorefield, Fred Detrow and Dale Detrow of Hagerstown, MD, Kenneth Detrow of Martinsburg, WV; nieces, Sharon Wratchford of Moorefield, Karin Maxson of Parkersburg, WV, Cindy Kight of Richmond, VA and Linda Bingamon of Hagerstown, MD, and a number of great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were conducted Friday, July 4, 2003 at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church at Fisher, WV with Pastor Judy Vetter officiating. Interment followed at the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 111 S. George St., Cumberland, MD 21502.
