Mary Schell

Mary (Bensenhaver) Schell, age 80 of South Main Street, Moorefield, WV passed away Sunday June 22, 2003 at the E. A. Hawse Continuous Care Center in Baker, WV. Born August 20, 1922 in Rig, WV, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Ila Mertle (Vance) Bensenhaver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Devaul ?Lefty? Schell in January 1990, one sister and four brothers. Surviving are eight daughters; Barbara See, Mary Lou Schell, Kathy Hardy, Melissa Clark & Margaret Shriver all of Moorefield, WV; Diana Zombro of Winchester , VA; Brenda Hiserman of Weston, WV & Ila Carper of Bunker Hill, WV; one sister, Ila Louise Burns of Meriden, CT. 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grand children. Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church with Rev. Braxton Garris officiating. Interment followed in the Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Moorefield High School Scholarship Fund, P.O.
