Maude Charlton Miller

Maude C. Miller, age 91 of Chipley Lane, Moorefield, WV, passed away Tuesday evening at the Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV. Born June 21, 1918 in Moorefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Samuel & Lillie Mae (Keller) Charlton. Two brothers, Grover C. Charlton and Landon B. Charlton preceded her in death. She worked for numerous years as a clerk for the H.P store in Moorefield. Surviving is a son, Rick Miller (wife Louise) of Moorefield, WV; a sister-in-law, Lenora Charlton of Moorefield, WV; four grandchildren, Jody Sasser, Lora Wright, Michael Miller and Ben Miller and three great-grandchildren, Jacob Wright, Kristen Wright and Grace Sasser. A Service of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church with the Rev. Giles LaVasseur officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery.
