McClave Cleland Combs

McClave Cleland “Mac” Combs, age 79 of Dover Hollow Road, Moorefield, WV, passed away Thursday evening, December 1, 2022, at his residence, with his family at his side. Born on September 5, 1943, in the Ft. Run area of Moorefield, WV, he was a son of the late Minnie Thelma Combs Dority and John Collins.

A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Moorefield, WV, he was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired truck driver from M& M Trucking, He loved tinkering in the garage and worked on anything and everything anyone would bring to him. His favorite pastime he loved was riding his Harley.

Surviving is his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret Ann “Honey” Lowery Combs; his children, Sherry (Allen) Miller of Petersburg, WV, Mac (Jayne) Combs of Petersburg, WV, Tonya (Greg) Brennan of Moorefield, WV, McClave Combs, Jr. of Cumberland, MD and Robin Hartman of Ridgeley, WV; seven grandchildren, Teisha (Josh) Combs, Joseph (Steph) Combs, Joshua (Stephanie) Combs, Dillon Combs, Tamara (Brian) Weasonforth, Sean Runion and Halie (Ross) Lambert; eight great-grandchildren, Dominic, Leo, Serenity, Leah, Arayah, Hannan, Tilly and Liam; a sister, Mirada Cornwell; a niece and several nephews.

McClave has been cremated and services will be held at a later date.
