Melania Lee Anna O’Donnell, age 51of Moorefield, WV, passed away Saturday morning, March 9, 2024, at her residence in the presence of her loving family. Born on October 2, 1972, in Petersburg, WV, she was a daughter of Loretta Ann Helmick of Short Gap, WV and the late Gene Runions. Husbands’ Brian Malcolm and Timothy O’Donnell also preceded her in death.

 

Throughout her life, Melania fostered a deep connection to nature and the outdoors, often venturing on mushroom hunting expeditions and reveling in the beauty of the world around her. Her flair for fashion and love for experimenting with makeup reflected her vibrant personality and zest for life. Melania's legacy will live on through her family members and those who were touched by her warmth and compassion. An avid gardener, talented cook, and creative crafter, Melania found joy in simple pleasures and cherished moments spent with her grandchildren.

 

Surviving is her fiancé, Tony Bowles; a son, Sebastian Malcolm of Moorefield, WV; daughters, Breanna Malcolm of Moorefield, WV and Brooklyn Stump of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, James (Patty) Runions of Moorefield, WV, Lester Runions of Franklin, WV and Arthur (Melissa) Sions of Clarksburg, WV; a sister, Libby (Junior) See of Moorefield, WV; and four grandchildren.

 

In honoring Melania's wishes, she will be cremated, and a gathering to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.
