Michael Allen Dove

Michael Allen Dove, age 28 of Moorefield, WV went to join our Lord and Savior, Jesus on May 26, 2012. Michael left us unexpectedly in an ATV accident. Michael is survived by his mother, Mary Alice Srout Dove of Moorefield, WV and his father, Matthew Lynn Dove of Capon Bridge, WV formerly of Arkansaw, WV. He was born on December 30, 1983 in Winchester, VA. Michael was a graduate of Moorefield High School Class of 2002 where he was a member of the golf team. Michael had also completed numerous college courses to further his education. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, camping, golfing, basketball, skiing, and riding his ATV. He was an avid outdoorsman and conservationist. Michael?s most favorite activity was attending WVU Mountaineer?s games. He was a diehard fan of the Mountaineers. Michael is preceded in death by three infant cousins, Jonathan Jeremy and Kimberly Swanson, cousin Jennifer Swanson, his paternal grandfather Ralph Dove, paternal great-grand-parents Allean Dwart & Daisy Ellen Smith Combs and Edward Isaac and Ida Diane Halterman Dove; maternal great-grandparents Homer Elmer and Martha Virginia Pratt Weatherholtz and Samuel L. Srout and Una Pauline Pratt Srout Radar James. Michael had no siblings so he loved his family with great passion, especially his cousins and was a role model for his younger second cousins. Srout, II of Old Fields, WV; Ward Malcolm of Moorefield, WV; Joy & Dwayne Swanson of New Market, VA; Brenda & Bruce Bly of Penn Laird, VA; Pat Dove of Arkansaw, WV; Frances Srout Malcolm & Bob Sellars of Old Fields WV;; Phyllis (Srout) & Tommie McCausley of Moorefield, WV; Tammy Combs of Old Fields, WV; first cousins, Zach, Ben & J.D. Swanson of New Market, VA; Stephanie (Dove) & Steven Snapp of Mathias, WV; Justin Fry of Petersburg, WV; Marie (Malcolm) & Robert Williams, Rebecca Malcolm & Derek Price, Tommie & Stephanie McCausley, Christopher, Cory & Erice McCausley all of Moorefield, WV; Kiersten & Trevor Srout of Romney, WV. Second Cousins that will miss him are Michael, Easton & Baylee Snapp, Samantha, Callista & Dylan Williams, Malina Malcolm, Olivia Bible and Jacob McCausley. Michael also had may great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins and good friends that will miss him. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street. Interment will follow at the Malcolm family cemetery near Moorefield, WV. The family will receive friends from 2 ? 4 & 6 ? 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
