Minnie Whetzel

Minnie Alice ?Pete? Whetzel, age 69 of South Fork Route, Moorefield, WV passed away Wednesday evening, December 18, 2002 at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born May 17, 1933 in Hardy County, WV she was a daughter of the late James E. & Esta (Evans) Delawder. Four brothers preceded her in death. She was a lifelong farmer and resident of Hardy County. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Garrett Whetzel, Sr.; Son, Garrett Whetzel, Jr. of Moorefield, WV; Brothers, Bob Delawder of Lorton, VA & Guy Delawder of Old Fields, WV; Sisters, Becky Smith of Moorefield, WV & Maxine High of Radcliff, KY; 2 grandchildren, Stacy Henry and husband Brian & Christi Baldwin and husband Eddie; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob and Justin Henry. Funeral Services were conducted Saturday, December 21, 2002 at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, WV with Pastor Harold Garber officiating. Interment followed in the Olivet Cemetery.
